Liz Goldner is an art and cultural journalist, living in Orange County, CA. She has written for Artillery magazine, Art Ltd., Fabrik, HuffPost, KCET Artbound, L.A. Weekly, Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Review of Books, Orange County Register, OC Weekly, Visual Art Source, Women in the Arts, and AICA-USA magazine. She writes about artists, including Chicanos, Indigenous, those working in figurative, conceptual, Light and Space and graffiti styles among several others. She writes about the healing powers of art, about the merging of art with science, environmental art and California Scene Painting. She has contributed to several books, including “Laguna Canyon Project: Refining Artivism,” published in 2018, and is writing a book about the founding of the Hilbert Museum of California Art, Orange, CA. She has won many First Place awards from the OC Press Club, and was nominated for a National Arts & Entertainment Award from the LA Press Club.
